Marnie C. Ferree is a licensed marriage and family therapist and founder of Bethesda Workshops. She has a national reputation as a leader in the field of sexual addiction, particularly as it presents in women. In 1997, Marnie established a workshop program for female sex addicts that was the first of its kind in the country and today draws participants from across the United States and Canada. Marnie and her husband David have been married since 1981 and are parents of a young adult son, married daughter, and proud grandparents of a toddler grandson.
Marnie’s book about female sexual addiction, No Stones: Women Redeemed from Sexual Addiction, (Intervarsity Press) is the first Christian book on the subject by a woman personally in recovery. Dr. Jeff Eckert is a licensed Psychologist & Clinical Social Worker. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Wheaton College, a Master's of Social Work from West Virginia University, and a Doctor of Psychology from Wheaton College Graduate School. He works with people ages 12 and older with issues ranging from men’s struggles, sexual orientation, sexual addiction, sexual abuse, trauma, marriage and family therapy, oppositional adolescents, addictions, conduct disorders, affective disorders, and PTSD. He is also now running the Henegar/CBI Counseling Center. He lives with his wife Kim, also a psychologist and professor at Lee, and his five children in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
